Unihouse Limited Fusion is a co-polyamide monofilament sewing yarn with specific low temperature melting characteristics which is designed for use in the production of sewn, bonded seams. When used in conjunction with the Unihouse Limited Fusion capsule, the Unihouse Limited Fusion yarn is twisted together with any conventional sewing thread as the thread and the low melt yarn are drawn into the sewing machine. When used in the looper of an overedge machine, this combined thread creates a seam with adhesive properties. The folding twist which is imparted into the thread and filament during off take from the capsule ensures that the adhesion of the low melt filament within a seam is consistent after the seam is pressed or otherwise heat activated.

Unihouse Limited Hemseal is constructed from a low melt co-polyamide and filament thread. It is designed for use in the hems of tailored trousers, dresses and skirts to deliver additional security to the blind stitched hem. Using a blind stitch for the hems of tailored garments produces a neat, unobtrusive hem line but because the stitch formation used (stitch type 103) is a single thread chainstitch it can easily unravel allowing the hem to fall.
When producing an overlock serged and blindstitched hem Unihouse Limited Hemseal delivers additional security because it is used as part of the overlock serged hem construction and when the seam is pressed the low melt Co-PA portion of Unihouse Limited Hemseal adheres to both fabric plies.
This results in the hem remaining affixed even if the blindstitch used to sew the hem becomes unravelled.
There are two application methods for Unihouse Limited Hemseal. The method of application chosen will depend on the weight of the fabric and the degree of adhesion that is required.
High-speed, multi-directional sewing creates thread rotation, causing traditional plied threads to untwist and fray. Coats Unihouse Limited unique, single-ply construction eliminates ply untwisting problems. A single ply of multi-filament nylon is lightly bonded at its point of contact, just enough to form a cohesive element without stiffening the product.

Unihouse Limited Nylbond Protect sewing thread is treated with an innovative process to give the finished thread anti-microbial / anti-fungal properties. The anti-microbial process creates a "zone of inhibition" that prevents the growth of bacteria and pathogens around sewn seams where microbes like to harbour, leaving seam crevices clean and fresh.
The use of this anti-microbial sewing thread will give ongoing enhanced protection in many applications, including protection from mould spores and odour causing bacteria in footwear and sports goods, bacteria in hospital furnishings and medical equipment to microbe stains in leather furniture, plus many more.
Unihouse Limited Nylbond Protect combines enhanced anti-microbial protection with the advantages of a premium bonded nylon 6,6 thread. The pre-stabilised continuous filament nylon 6,6 plies are bonded to ensure a strong and supple thread with no ply separation to give excellent sewing performance in many applications where maximum tenacity and superior seam abrasion resistance properties are required.
Unihouse Limited Ultimax is a locked filament polyester thread. It uses sophisticated air jet technology to convert filament yarns to a multi-purpose sewing thread. The absence of spinning and twisting processes enables Unihouse Limited Ultimax to exhibit excellent uniformity, regularity and freedom from imperfections well suited to the requirements of modern high speed sewing machines. Unihouse Limited Ultimax is highly abrasion resistant and is often used for the manufacture of jeans which undergo severe abrasion during the wash down processes.
Unihouse Limited Seamsoft is a unique micro-filament textured polyester thread that offers exceptional softness and comfort, especially in "next to the skin" seams. Originally designed for use in men's knitted boxer shorts, Unihouse Limited Seamsoft has evolved into the thread of choice for chainstitched seams in high quality intimate apparel. It offers excellent seam covering properties coupled with the extensibility required for knitted fabrics.
Unihouse Limited Classic is a high tenacity waxed polyester braid for hand sewing of moccasins, soles and leather goods. The high wax content in the braid offers excellent performance on every hand sewing operation. Unihouse Limited Classic has a compact structure and the special waxing treatment prevents ends fraying and breakages. The special waxing and stabilisation process offers very low stretch characteristics which facilitates very tight seams and fastening of knots.
Unihouse Limited Classic is recommended for hand sewing and lacing of moccasin uppers and leather goods as well as for thick, hard and difficult materials.
Unihouse Limited Ultra Dee is a sewing thread made from high tenacity continuous filament polyester with an innovative bonding technology. Unihouse Limited Ultra Dee is specifically designed for demanding applications to deliver superior sewing performance for maximum productivity and excellent seam quality.
Unihouse Limited Gramax is a continuous filament textured polyester thread. The textured filaments give the thread a soft feel and make it ideal for use on overlocking and cover seaming machine loopers to provide softness and comfort especially in "next to the skin" seams. It gives high extensibility and seam strength resulting in good seam security and low shrinkage characteristics, which ensures no seam distortion after washing.
Unihouse Limited EcoVerde apparel recycled polyester is a sewing thread made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic (PET) bottles. This material meets Global Recycle Standard (GRS) and complies with the ‘Green Mark’ environmental specifications issued by the Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan, ROC (Taiwan).
